Cancellation Policy

At Galactic English Tutoring, we want to ensure a smooth and fair process for both our students and tutors when it comes to cancellations and refunds. We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we've devised a policy to guide you through any necessary changes to your scheduled classes. If you need to cancel a class, we kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice before the start time. This allows us to reschedule the session without any additional charges. To reschedule, reach out to our support team via email or our customer service hotline. Please remember that rescheduling should be done no later than three (3) hours before the original class time.
Now, let's talk about cancellations for course packages. If you need to cancel your entire course package, with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee we do NOT offer refunds. Instead, we offer the ability to suspend classes for one (1) month but not more than three (3) months
We genuinely want to provide you with the best learning experience, so here are some alternatives to explore:

  1. Pause your course: If you need a temporary break, you can request to pause your course for a specific duration. This way, you can retain your progress and easily resume your classes when ready. All unused BOOKED CLASSES ('paid'), will be held with the option to REDEEM at NO EXTRA CHARGE when resuming classes.

  2. Transfer your course: Life can take unexpected turns, but that doesn't mean your learning journey has to end. If circumstances change and you can't continue with your current course, you can transfer it to someone who can benefit from our ESL tutoring services, like a family member, friend, or colleague. **Note: any fees owed at the time of transfer will be charged to the individual receiving the remaining sessions. Also, ANY booked classes (paid) remaining at the time of transfer will automatically be applied to the individual taking over the classes.

  3. Change your course format: We offer different course formats to suit your preferences and schedule. If your current format isn't working, we can explore alternative options, such as switching from one-on-one lessons to group sessions (when available) or vice versa.​

We want to clarify that refunds will not be provided for completed sessions, whether they are individual classes or part of a paid package. Once a class has taken place, it is considered a rendered service, and we are unable to offer refunds for completed sessions.
