Welcome to Galactic English Tutoring! By enrolling in our tutoring services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

• Business Name: Galactic English Tutoring

• Business Structure: Sole Proprietorship

• Website: https://www.galacticenglish.com

• Services Provided: Live, private 1:1, and group ESL/ELL tutoring

• Teaching Platform: FunClass.app

2. Booking & Payment

• Booking: Students/parents may book lessons via the website, email, or WhatsApp.

• Trial Lessons: A level assessment + lesson plan with two complimentary lessons is available for $10.

• Payment Methods: Stripe, Link, PayPal, WeChat, and AliPay.

• Payment Terms: Services are charged on a recurring monthly subscription basis.

• Refund Policy: No refunds after classes begin. Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle.

• Rescheduling: Students and teachers may reschedule lessons up to 15 minutes before the scheduled class start time.

3. Student Expectations & Conduct

• Students must come to class prepared and ready to learn.

• Respectful behavior and speech are required when interacting with the teacher and other students in group classes.

• A no-show policy applies: No refunds for missed classes.

• If a student is late, the teacher will wait up to 15 minutes while attempting to contact them. The class will not be extended to make up for lost time.

4. Technology & Parent Involvement

• Required Setup: Students must have a stable internet connection, headphones, a quiet space with no distractions, and a FunClass.app account.

• Parental Presence: Parents may be present for younger students but should not interfere with the lesson.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

• Data Collection: Student information is stored securely on FunClass.app and used only for billing, scheduling, and communication.

• Lesson Recordings: Lessons may be recorded for student/parent review and advertising. Parental consent is required for promotional use, and children's faces will be blurred.

6. Intellectual Property & Content Usage

• Recordings: 1:1 class recordings may be shared, but group class recordings may not be distributed.

• Teaching Materials: All lesson materials remain the intellectual property of Galactic English Tutoring and may not be shared or redistributed.

7. Guarantees & Liability

• Learning Guarantee: A 100% learning progress and satisfaction guarantee is offered to students and parents.

• Liability: Galactic English Tutoring is not responsible for technical issues that prevent students from attending class.

8. Policy Enforcement & Modifications

• Policy Violations: Galactic English Tutoring reserves the right to terminate lessons if policies are violated.

• Modifications: Terms and conditions may be updated anytime, with email notifications sent to clients.

• Legal Compliance: Galactic English Tutoring complies with COPPA and GDPR.

• Agreement Requirement: Parents must agree to these terms before lessons begin.
